SLGE has recently completed research into state policies around re-employment
of retired staff, as part of a joint effort with the National Association of State Retirement Administrators. SLGE gratefully acknowledges the support of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to undertake this research project.

SLGE workforce survey data on police recruitment challenges was recently cited by New Hampshire Public Radio and in an ICMA study on Police Recruitment, Training, and Community Engagement. Other recent citations have included the Maryland Association of Counties, Council of State Governments (page 47), AFSCME, the International Association of Workforce Professionals, Baird, and Retensa.
