Infographic on Emergency Savings Funds for Employees
In conjunction with April being Financial Literacy Month, the Center for State and Local Government Excellence at ICMA-RC has developed an infographic on the business case for helping employees to build emergency savings. One indication of the need is a survey finding that prior to the pandemic, only 30% of state and local government employees had a fully funded emergency fund to help pay for major unexpected expenses or to cover necessities if they lost their main source of income.
