Aprile PritchetEngagement Manager, acting

    Ms. Pritchet serves as acting Engagement Manager for MissionSquare Research Institute. She is responsible for engaging with key stakeholders from various associations and government agencies to help inform ongoing thought leadership pieces and research topics. In addition to her Engagement Manager role, she also serves as Public Affairs Manager for MissionSquare Retirement (formerly ICMA-RC).

    Prior to joining ICMA-RC and the Research Institute, Ms. Pritchet worked at the Walker Marchant Group, a strategic communications agency, where she held a duel role as Director of Operations and Senior Account Executive.

    Ms. Pritchet also served as Director of Community Relations for D.C. United, where she was responsible for creating and implementing the organization’s community outreach programs and initiatives.  Additionally, she served as Executive Director of the team’s charity, United for D.C., in which she oversaw the overall strategic and operational duties of the staff, programs, and fundraising events.

    Previously, Ms. Pritchet worked as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University – Sports Industry Management Program, in which she taught a graduate-level course on Diversity and Social Responsibility in Sports.

    Ms. Pritchet graduated with honors from Hampton University with a degree in Sports Management. She was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Massachusetts by ESPN, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), where she received a Master’s of Science in Sport Management.
